| O.A. Newton would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers, vendors, and guest speakers for participating in our 6th Annual Sports Field Management Day on October 19, 2011. It was really exciting to see |
Agenda
& Presentations
Turfgrass
Weed Identification & Control |
so many of you come out for the event; the attendance was the best it has been in several years.
Our guest speakers did a wonderful job of presenting valuable concepts on everything from The importance of choosing the right grass, to Nitrogen & Phosphorus Runoff, to the importance of Planning for the Upcoming Year.
As in the past, our customers were able to receive Nutrient Management Continuing Education Credit and Pesticide Recertification Credit for both Delaware and Maryland. Also, we introduced a new concept by way of a Discussion Panel. A lot of useful information was discussed regarding the effects of the recent economy and how “Doing More with Less” has impacted the various groups. We had a constituent represented from a private school, a public school, Contracting and Parks. For those of you who were not able to stay for the Panel; click on the link above to see what was discussed.
Don’t forget to include a Kifco Water Reel when planning your budget. As our guest speakers pointed out, it is critical to water correctly, not only to maintain beautiful sports fields but also for safety. A Kifco provides flexibility to irrigate multiple fields with one machine, irrigates in a single pass, reduces player injuries due to softer fields, and is more affordable than an in-ground system.
O.A. Newton is currently
accepting trade-in’s on used Kifco Water Reels.
In keeping with the theme of “Doing More With
Less”, trading in an older red Kifco will turn an aging asset into a credit
towards the purchase of a new, reliable Kifco, reducing your downtime when you
can least afford it.
Again, thank you!
We appreciate doing business
with you.
